About

In a time where witchcraft has become a mainstream trend, it can be difficult to find magickal tools you can trust. That's where I come in, I’m Tempest, The Flamewoven Alchemist, and I specialize in creating heirloom quality, personalized magickal tools and talismans. I'm committed to sustainable and ethical sourcing of my materials. As well as supporting other small businesses, artisans, and practitioners whenever possible.

I handcraft every item with intention, guided by three pillars of design: structural stability, intrinsic beauty, and energetic harmony. These principles ensure that each piece I create is not only functional but also a meaningful addition to your practice.

Structural Stability

I believe magickal tools should be as durable as they are beautiful. That’s why I work with high-quality materials to create items built to last through years of use. Every piece undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure it stands up to regular wear and tear. And if you ever encounter an issue with one of my creations, my craftsman's guarantee means I’ll make it right—your trust and satisfaction mean everything to me.

Intrinsic Beauty

Magick is a deeply sensory experience, and I design my creations to honor that. Each piece is crafted to be as comfortable as it is beautiful—whether it’s worn close to your skin or held during a ritual. I focus on visual balance and tactile quality, ensuring my tools feel as good to use as they are to look at.

To support your comfort and confidence, I’m transparent about the materials I use, making it easy to avoid anything that might cause allergies or sensitivities. My goal is to create tools that enhance your practice, engaging your senses in a way that feels both natural and empowering.

Energetic Harmony

At the heart of my work lies a process I call flameweaving. This technique involves combining diverse materials and energies into a cohesive, harmonious whole, with heat as the medium of transformation. Whether working with the direct flame of a torch, the steady heat of a kiln, or the energy transferred through my hands, I let the materials guide me.

Flameweaving is more than a technique—it’s an alchemical process of enchantment I’ve been honing for over 15 years. The result is a final product that is greater than the sum of its parts, imbued with intention, balance, and a touch of magick.

Alchemy is at its core the art of transformation. As an alchemist I work with three aspects of each material - Salt, Sulfur and Mercury. It is by working with these aspects that the materials have a say in the process, I do this through psychometry and intuition.

Salt - The Body

The salt of a material is it's physical body. The matter physically present in this plane.

Mercury - The Spirit

The mercury, or spirit of a material is it's energetic properties and form. This energy is consistent between different physical bodies of the same material.

Sulfur - The Soul

The sulfur, or soul of a material is its unique consciousness. I generally refer to this as it's voice. This voice is influenced by the spirit of the material but is individual to the physical body.
