The Light Reclaimed Collection

A collection of talismans for those actively breaking cycles of harmful habits and addictions, one choice at a time.

May they be a light to you in dark places, so you may find the strength to keep moving forward.

This collection is created for those who have already made the decision to change.

Not at the hopeful beginning, not at the end where the choice feels natural, but in the messy middle of the process. The part that is often the most difficult. The part where old patterns still pull, where habits return in moments of exhaustion, and where support is not always immediately present.

We are often told that community is essential when breaking cycles, and it is. But there are still moments where you find yourself facing temptation alone.

These talismans are created to stand with you in those moments.

They are not tools of force or judgment. They do not push or demand. Instead, they act as a steady presence, an anchor point in moments of weakness. A quiet reminder of why you chose to change, and the strength you carry within.

The energy of this collection is that of a caretaker.

There is a tenderness to these pieces. A steady, enduring form of support that does not disappear when things become difficult. During the creation process, this required a level of devotion that remained present even in moments of fatigue. A reflection of the same energy these talismans are meant to offer.

It is the friend with their hand on your shoulder saying "I know this is hard, and you feel weak for being tempted. But I know you are so much stronger than you give yourself credit for. You chose to change for a reason, I'm not going to let you forget that."

Each piece is anchored by dendritic quartz, chosen not for standardized metaphysical properties, but for the specific calling of the stones themselves. These were not selected at random. Each one carries the energy of growth pressing forward despite resistance.

This collection is not a replacement for medical care or a support group. It is one more line in the web that gives you foot holds as you climb out of darkness.

The purpose of this collection is not transformation in a distant, abstract sense.

It is grounded.

It is the moment where in facing temptation; you pause, take a breath, and choose the harder path.

Each talisman serves as a physical reminder of why you chose to change. A source of quiet strength, reassurance and accountability in moments where it would be easier to return to what is familiar.

Included with each piece is a written ritual, allowing you to further anchor the talisman to your own reasons for change - strengthening the bond between you and the ally you carry.

Light Reclaimed - Creation Story

This collection began, as many of my works do, with the materials themselves.

I came across a group of dendritic quartz during a downsizing sale at a local metaphysical shop. One piece in particular stood out immediately - it's inclusions resembling branches pushing up through snow. Not delicate, but persistent. The kind of growth that happens after a long winter, when something chooses to reach for the light again.

I selected several pieces that carried this same feeling. At the time, I didn’t yet know what the collection would become, only that these stones were aligned with healing and ready to work.

 

Before moving forward with the creation of this collection, I divined to better understand what work these pieces were meant to do.

All of my collections begin with a question. In this case, I asked:

"These dendritic quartz pieces remind me of new growth breaking through the snow. What work should this collection be doing?"

Using my Talisman Oracle, I read jumper cards - allowing the deck to speak through what chose to come forward rather than what was deliberately pulled.

The cards that emerged were:

Karmic Justice, Protection, Defense, Good Luck, Creativity, Rebirth, and Resilience.

Together, they formed a clear directive. This collection was not simply about renewal in a passive sense, but about active change. Breaking cycles, creating new pathways, and supporting the difficult work of transformation as it is happening.

The message from my spirit team was direct:

Weave in the energy of favorable beginnings, of breaking cycles and of new growth. Creating allies for breaking bad habits and facing addiction.

With the purpose established, I then turned to the question of who would help facilitate this work.

Through further divination using the Magickal Botanical and Dragon Oracle decks, four spirit allies stepped forward to take part in the creation of this collection.

Camellia Japonica


Camellia offered comfort and acceptance.

Softening the internal landscape so change can be rooted in compassion rather than shame. She helps us accept our desires, and reminds us why we have chosen to change - not with guilt or anger but rather with love and acceptance.

Burgmansia Suaveolens


Angel’s Trumpet stepped forward as the herald of hard truths.

Offering clarity, even when that truth is difficult to receive, and supporting the choice to move forward into the unknown. Assisting with transitions where we are resistant to change, but know that it is for our greater good. Helping us to choose joy - focusing on the new things coming rather than what we have lost.

Hedera Helix


Ivy brought the qualities of binding and resilience.

Supporting the work of holding boundaries, breaking harmful patterns, and continuing forward even through difficult seasons. Helping us to build a strength and resilience that doesn't sacrifice our sensitivity, and find opportunities in misfortune to grow and thrive despite it being difficult.

"I am rooted in the blessings of my life."

Golden Atlantean Dragon


Presiding over the process was the Golden Atlantean Dragon, who offered final blessing in the form of a golden drop of light held within each talisman, an imprint of reclaimed sovereignty and self-mastery.

He brings a steady, calming guidance - the mentor who pushes you consistently to do better, because they know you are capable of incredible things. Having unwavering faith in you, even when you don't have faith in yourself.

"I am in charge of the decisions I make everyday."

From this point, the structure of the collection became clear. The materials, the ritual process, and the energetic framework of each talisman were all shaped in direct response to this guidance.

After the talisman bodies were created they were imbued with the power of each spirit ally through ritual.


Each ally was invited into the ritual space, named for the roles they would hold, and given offerings in exchange for their aid.

Each talisman was then passed through the flame of creation, where these allies were burned as incense and woven into the piece.


Once imbued, each talisman was given the breath of life, awakened as a unique chimeric spirit, and then baptized in blessed water mixed with melted snow. This final step anchors the essence of rebirth, transition, and new beginnings within each piece.


In support of this work beyond the individual, 10% of proceeds from this collection will be donated to Mary Greeley Medical Center to aid in their efforts supporting addiction recovery in my local community.
